Scanpan Cookware Sets: Which Set Is Right for You?

A Scanpan cookware set is a simple way to equip a kitchen with matching, long-lasting pots and pans, and it makes a generous gift for a wedding, a new home or Christmas. This guide compares the Scanpan sets we stock and helps you decide whether a set or individual pieces suits you better, using Scanpan's own range information. Browse every set in our Scanpan collection.

Step 1: Choose your range

Each set comes from one Scanpan range, so the first decision is non-stick or stainless steel, and which construction you prefer. Our Scanpan cookware guide compares every range, and the stainless steel guide explains the differences between Impact, STS and Coppernox.

Stainless steel cookware sets

Impact sets

Impact has a thick impact-bonded base with an aluminium disk between two layers of stainless steel, cast stainless handles and tempered glass lids. Scanpan says it suits all cooktops, including induction.

Read more in our Scanpan Impact guide.

STS sets

STS is made from premium-grade 304 stainless steel with an impact-bonded sandwich base and aluminium core, and Scanpan says it suits all heat sources including induction.

Coppernox sets

Coppernox has a mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel body and an impact-bonded base with a copper wedge between two layers of aluminium.

Saucepan sets

If you mainly need saucepans, a saucepan set is a focused option: the Impact 3-piece saucepan set, the Impact 16cm and 20cm set, or the STS and Coppernox saucepan sets above.

Fry pan sets

A two-pan set covers both everyday and family-size cooking:

Set or individual pieces?

  • Choose a set if you're starting from scratch, replacing most of your cookware at once, or buying a gift.
  • Choose individual pieces if you only need one or two items, or want to mix ranges, for example non-stick fry pans with stainless saucepans. Scanpan's own advice is to start with the shape and size you use most.

Check the contents of each set on its product page, so you know exactly which pieces and lids are included.

Warranty

Scanpan's stainless steel cookware carries a 10-year warranty against manufacturing defects, and its non-stick cookware carries a limited lifetime warranty.
