Tips for buying Mason Cash online
Check the size and capacity
Mason Cash bowls are sold by diameter, and sometimes by a size number such as S12 or S30, where a smaller number means a bigger bowl. Our listings include dimensions and, for many pieces, capacity in litres. Our size guide puts them side by side.
Mixing bowl, batter bowl or pudding basin?
A mixing bowl is the all-rounder. A batter bowl adds a handle and pouring lip for pancakes and runny batters. A pudding basin has a rim for tying on a cover and a vented base for steaming.
Read the care notes
Care instructions vary between ranges and materials. Check each product page, and see our Mason Cash care FAQ for general advice.
Think about building a set
Every classic Mason Cash bowl shares the same shape, so it's easy to add to your collection over time and mix colours and designs.
Popular Mason Cash picks
- Cane Mixing Bowl 29cm: the 4 litre classic, roomy enough for bread dough.
- Cane Mixing Bowl 24cm: the everyday size for cakes and biscuits.
- White Pudding Basin 17cm: a 1 litre basin for Christmas pudding.
- In the Meadow Rose Pink 29cm: a pretty floral take on the classic.
- In the Forest Fox Cream 29cm: woodland charm with plenty of room.
