Captain America makes his return in action-packed style in Jack Kirby and Paul Reinmans 1964 cover art, his first appearance in the Silver Age of comic books and the start of his association with the Avengers.
Gilded in 24K gold, illustrator Alan Quah and sculptor Ghim Ongs pewter sculpture of the Captain is clad in the superheros quintessential uniform, with every detail from winged helmet to scaled quilting recreated in precise detail.
Alan Quah is a respected illustrator in the international comics and collectibles communities. Ghim Ongs strong interest in 3D sculpting has led to his working on Marvel, DC and Disney properties.
About the collection: A project with Marvel Comics, featuring iconic characters and insignia of the Marvel multiverse, this item comes in Official Marvel Licensee packaging.
